The Royal Maritime Club is a 100 bedroom hotel with extensive leisure and banqueting facilities. Situated close to Portsmouth’s historic dockyard, the Club has charitable status and is steeped in Naval history.
We are licensed for marriage and civil partnership ceremonies, and have various banqueting and event suites, which include a ballroom accommodating up to 400 people.
We are seeking an experienced Chef to help us meet our goal of becoming a 3* establishment within the next few months.
You should have relevant catering qualifications (a minimum of NVQ2) and have had experience of working in a Restaurant/Hotel catering department. You will need to be an enthusiastic team player to join our team of 8 staff.

Full time position (37 hours per week), hours will be varied and include evening and week-end work. We regret we cannot offer accommodation.
Looking for a job in catering? We're searching for someone with previous experience in banqueting and silver service. Your hours of work will vary according to shifts, but will mostly be Friday and Saturday evenings. There are also breakfast shifts.
